Basically we turned our apartment application in yesterday, and this afternoon, the person I put down as a reference had call me to let me know the landlord called her. So how soon will we know if we got the apartment? They also required a back ground check and credit check. Is there a certain order they have to follow? All I know is the personal reference sheet is at the last of the application. Could that mean they already went through the rest of everything else? Help Please

1st time landlord, what steps do I take to rent to someone?

If an 18 yr old is on a lease with her parent does the 18 yr old have to sign the lease as an adult?

Is it normal for a Landlord to ask you to bring your credit report to the viewing of the apartment?

It’s not that they didn’t rent to me but here in Omaha NE they usally only ask it when they do the application, but they have you pay for it.
