Applying for a number a jobs online, I have run into several employers (well known)who mandate your Social Security Number in order to complete the application. I think this is unfair and is as dangerous as giving up your Social Security number over the phone. The only time you should have to give your number up is when they make a job offer. They then can do a back ground check before they finalize.

For employment legal Americans have to have a diploma, back ground check, two forms of ID and a physical.
Illegal immigrants do not. This is a clear violation of the Constitution. Legal Americans are being discriminated against because of their nationality.
