I got through all the application process now it came down to the back ground check can an employer disqualify me for a misdemeanor when I was 16? I’m currently 20. I was under the impression that turning 18 ridded myself of my younger stupid actions. Any and all help is appreciated.

so i just got out of the army and now am looking for work, but before i joined i was a trouble maker…quite a big rap sheet if u know what i mean…since then i have totally changed my life and turned it all around….my issue is when i apply for jobs whats gonna come up….how do i find out? how long do things stay on ur record that a company can see…can i clean it up more?
